About Us
Compassionate Care. Innovative Treatments. Lasting Relief.

At Solaris Integrative Psychiatry, we believe that mental health care should be as unique as the individuals seeking it. Founded by Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners Michelle Miranda and Jennifer Corteo, we are a women-owned, locally operated small business committed to providing innovative, science-backed treatments for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.

Our Story
With extensive experience in psychiatric inpatient care, we saw firsthand how traditional medications often fail to provide relief for those who need it most. Determined to bridge this gap, we created Solaris Integrative Psychiatry—a place where advanced treatments, compassionate care, and personalized solutions come together.

Our Approach
We offer ketamine and Spravato® (esketamine) therapy exclusively, providing renewed hope for individuals who have not found relief with traditional treatments. These innovative, evidence-based therapies are the sole focus of our practice, offering a new path forward for those living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and related conditions. While every healing journey is unique, our goal is to empower patients with treatments that support meaningful progress, long-term stability, and a renewed sense of well-being.
Meet the Founders
Michelle Miranda, PMHNP-BC
Owner, PMHNP-BC
I became a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2014 and have since worked in a wide range of settings—including psychiatric emergency departments, acute inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, substance use treatment programs, and adolescent services. Each environment has shaped my understanding of the complexities of mental health care.
Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how many individuals struggle to find relief with traditional psychiatric treatments alone. This growing gap in care inspired me to co-found Solaris Integrative Psychiatry with the intention of offering innovative, holistic alternatives for those who haven’t responded to conventional approaches.
Outside of work, I’m an avid reader who enjoys cooking, camping, hiking, skiing, and spending time with my husband, my son, and our adopted German Shepherd/Chow-Chow mix.

Jennifer Corteo
Owner, PMHNP-BC
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and co-owner of Solaris Integrative Psychiatry. I worked in critical care for eight years before transitioning into psychiatric nursing after recognizing the toll that untreated and undertreated mental health conditions were taking on my patients. As a psychiatric provider, it has become apparent that, even with the most evidence-based approach, standard medications so often fall short for many of my patients. My goal in this practice is to give hope to those for whom the current available options have not been successful.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, climbing and mountain biking. I’m also an avid SCUBA diver and will gladly tell you my “big fish” stories when asked.
