At Solaris Integrative Psychiatry, we believe that mental health care should be as unique as the individuals seeking it. Founded by Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners Michelle Miranda and Jennifer Corteo, we are a women-owned, locally operated small business committed to providing innovative, science-backed treatments for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.

Our Story

With extensive experience in psychiatric inpatient care, we saw firsthand how traditional medications often fail to provide relief for those who need it most. Determined to bridge this gap, we created Solaris Integrative Psychiatry—a place where advanced treatments, compassionate care, and personalized solutions come together.

Our Approach

We offer ketamine and Spravato® (esketamine) therapy exclusively, providing renewed hope for individuals who have not found relief with traditional treatments. These innovative, evidence-based therapies are the sole focus of our practice, offering a new path forward for those living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and related conditions. While every healing journey is unique, our goal is to empower patients with treatments that support meaningful progress, long-term stability, and a renewed sense of well-being.

Meet the Founders

Michelle Miranda, PMHNP-BC

Owner

I became a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2014 and have since worked in a wide range of settings—including psychiatric emergency departments, acute inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, substance use treatment programs, and adolescent services. Each environment has shaped my understanding of the complexities of mental health care.

Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how many individuals struggle to find relief with traditional psychiatric treatments alone. This growing gap in care inspired me to co-found Solaris Integrative Psychiatry with the intention of offering innovative, holistic alternatives for those who haven’t responded to conventional approaches.

Outside of work, I’m an avid reader who enjoys cooking, camping, hiking, skiing, and spending time with my husband, my son, and our adopted German Shepherd/Chow-Chow mix.

Jennifer Corteo, PMHNP-BC

Owner

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and co-owner of Solaris Integrative Psychiatry. I worked in critical care for eight years before transitioning into psychiatric nursing after recognizing the toll that untreated and undertreated mental health conditions were taking on my patients. As a psychiatric provider, it has become apparent that, even with the most evidence-based approach, standard medications so often fall short for many of my patients. My goal in this practice is to give hope to those for whom the current available options have not been successful.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, climbing and mountain biking. I’m also an avid SCUBA diver and will gladly tell you my “big fish” stories when asked.

Grayson Braddy, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Provider

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in nursing and a background in psychology. I specialize in treating adolescents and adults, with clinical experience in behavioral health, LGBTQ+ care, perinatal loss, and college mental health.

In the integrative clinic setting, I offer compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals navigating alternatives to more traditional treatment regimens. I believe healing begins with trust and connection, bringing warmth, empathy, and humor to every
session.

My approach is grounded in the belief that you are not defined by your diagnosis—it’s a tool that can help you live your best life.
Outside of work, Grayson enjoys time with her family, animals, and an avid music fan. I look forward to supporting you on your path to wellness.

Hannah Sims, MS

Medical Assistant

Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm originally from Golden, Colorado, and moved to Fort Collins to earn my bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University. Because I have a passion for learning, I returned to CSU the following year to complete my master's degree in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Human Anatomy and Physiology. My goal is to attend medical school and become a physician who makes a difference in patients' lives, just like the providers I have the privilege of working alongside here.

I began my career as a medical assistant in primary care before transitioning to psychiatry. I love working closely with patients and helping create a welcoming, supportive environment where they feel comfortable and cared for.

Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active through fitness and skiing, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Rams. My favorite part of any day is making someone smile!

Hi, I’m Payten! I’m a Medical Assistant with a passion for healthcare and helping others feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medical Assistant has given me the opportunity to work closely with patients and has strengthened my appreciation for compassionate, patient-centered care.

I’m currently pursuing my education in Radiologic Technology, with the goal of continuing to grow within the healthcare field. I’m especially grateful to be part of the team at Solaris Integrative Psychiatry, where I have the opportunity to connect with patients and contribute to a welcoming and positive environment. I believe that even the smallest interactions can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day and healthcare experience.

When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I love rock climbing, paddle boarding, going to concerts, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m always excited to try new things, make memories, and continue learning both personally and professionally.
